Treating Difficult to Control Edema in Rural Kansas

Updated: Nov 15, 2018

The constant monitoring of patients that TapestryCare™ facilitates delivers superior results as well as significant cost benefits. Mary Beth, our nurse practitioner in rural Kansas, recently encountered a patient with lower extremity edema that was extremely difficult to control.

From actual notes about the incident:

Thanks to Mary Beth’s ability to consistently monitor this challenging case, which would have been impossible without TapestryCare™, she was able to garner the best results this patient had seen to date. She worked closely with the patient’s primary care physician to develop a plan to treat a secondary problem in order to begin treating the primary issue.

Not only was the patient thrilled with the progress in his care, he asked Mary Beth to make sure that his medications were in order. These are the kinds of results that TapestryCare™ routinely delivers for patients and providers.
